Well Cambodia has changed a lot since you were there , everywhere you see the signs of a society rebuilding itself from many many years of war, sadly the poverty and corruption are still there, which may eventually lead to another civil war , this is endemic of history repeating itself,Many young students i talked to want change , sadly change has a habit of coming head on with the govt , which then in most asian countries follows two paths , the army take over , or govt enforces it way life on the population , both lead to civil war.

Its hard to say where cambodia will be in 10 to 20 years time, i have had a lot discussions with many students as to ways to run the country and improve it and many want radical change .

As for the country it is in a rebirth , still very slow by western standards cause lack of money equipment and so on , there are many Ngo's working there like myself , most have huge organizations backing them , unlike me who is doing this almost solo, well you can read what im doing here

No. I was aboard the USS John F Kennedy and assigned to 2nd Division which are boatswain mates. That simply put is a deck ape.... lots of hard deck seamanship type chores and jobs. We ran the underway replenishment rigs and handled and drove the small boats. We were the lookouts and bridge watch standers on the helm and lee helm. Dangerous work. I had a contractual enlistment agreement for communications and eventually went for my training in San Diego, CA.

The USS JFK burned for 12 hours. It was a hectic and frightful night. I was 18 yrs.old and just out of basic training. I fought fires on a couple of hoses teams and was an investigator a few time also. The investigator puts on oxygen breathing apparatus and investigates areas of the ship for damage, flooding, fires. I can be quite dangerous if you find any of these obviously. Eight lost their lives on the USS Belknap and one on the USS John F Kennedy. Many were injured... some seriously. One of those life's adventures.

I'm working on proper technique and his association between where he knows the musical note is on the fingerboard and it's location of the staff.

Somehow the "Blessed are the peacemakers" from the Bible has taken fruition. There was a bit of a rift between the keyboard player and the drummer's wife, insults and curses thrown about. I made telephones the other night and made sure that one band member made it home safely. Somehow I end up as Papa John.

At 7:52pm on February 12, 2009, John Joseph said…: I am using foxfire too... and sometimes the music player on myspace is screwing up. I hope to post some of the stuff recorded on Saturday in a week. The stuff on myspace is Heart N Soul. The writer is John Scott, the singer is Cindy Sauer his much younger sister-in-law, and a variety of other artists for different tracks. I like John's stuff very much. Billy Maxwell's music is more folk rock, perhaps even Bob Dylan sounding or Jacob Dylan Wall Flowers sounding. I'm having a very good time. I honestly need more gigs and some students. So tell me how to find a Lennon film.
